Tameko
Tameko works in the quiet language of textiles, weaving calm, warmth, and gentle simplicity into the fabrics of everyday life. Their pieces begin with natural fibers: the cool breathability of linen, the softness of cotton, the grounded comfort of wool. Each material is chosen not just for how it looks, but for how it feels against the skin and how it settles into a home.
Designed in Copenhagen, Tameko’s textiles carry the ease of Scandinavian living: clean lines, muted tones, and an understated elegance that never tries too hard. In Karur, these designs are shaped by hand, stitched with care, and brought to life through craftsmanship that values patience over speed.
The result is a collection that feels intimate and quietly generous. Fabrics that soften with use, that fold naturally into daily rituals, that bring a sense of stillness to a room without ever asking for attention.
We admire Tameko for this gentle honesty. Their linens and textiles are not decorative gestures, they are companions to slow mornings, open windows, shared meals, and the simple comforts that make a space feel lived in and loved.
THE COLLECTIONS
Collection 001
Designed by Space Copenhagen
The debut collection was designed by the award-winning studio Space Copenhagen. The founders of Space Copenhagen, Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, who started their journey in 2005, describe their approach to design as ‘poetic minimalism’. They strive to create harmony by balancing contrasting elements, which in TAMEKO’s collection translates to merging nostalgia with modernity, the raw with there fined, and simplicity with a keen attention to detail.
TAMEKO’s first collection shies away from flashy patterns and bright colours, instead giving precedence to the natural qualities of the materials. The monochrome table linens, bedding, and cushions showcase the effortless crinkles of linen and the soft, smooth fibres of cotton. Their approach is to work with nature, putting material at the forefront, and celebrating an honesty in construction allowing form to emerge from function.
The palette is painted in earthy shades of rust, grey, and white, whose timeless nature makes them suitable for any occasion and season.
Collection 002
Designed by Norm Architects
TAMEKO and Norm Architects present their first collaboration: // Collection 002
A considered series of cushions, bedthrows, and kimonos that reflects a shared dedication to tactility, natural materials and quiet refinement.
The origins of the collection trace back to the Ground rug series designed by Norm Architects for massimo copenhagen, the sister company founded by the same team behind TAMEKO. What began as a material dialogue between rugs and interiors has now evolved into a complete textile universe, crafted to shape atmosphere and support elevated living across both hospitality and private spaces.

Naturally Hypoallergenic
Linen, due to its natural fibers and production process, is naturally hypoallergenic. Sleeping on pure linen sheets can help prevent common allergic reactions that are often associated with synthetic fabrics. Thanks to the inherent qualities of flax, linen is an ideal choice for those seeking a non-allergenic option.
Eco-friendly Fibers
European flax is fully biodegradable and recyclable, making it an excellent choice for environmental sustainability. It grows naturally with minimal or no fertilizers and doesn't need irrigation. This eco-friendly plant also enhances sustainability by reducing the need for starching during weaving, which in turn lowers the use of chemicals.
